Introduction

Landmine Monitor is an initiative providing research for the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) and the Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC). It is the de facto monitoring regime for the Mine Ban Treaty and the Convention on Cluster Munitions. Landmine Monitor produces several research products including the annual Landmine Monitor, and Cluster Munition reports, as well as factsheets and maps. All Landmine Monitor research products are available for purchase and as a free online resource.

Banning Cluster Munitions:
Government Policy and Practice
This 288-page report contains entries on 150 countries, including signatories to the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, countries that stockpile the weapon, and affected states. The report documents governments' engagement in the creation of an international treaty banning cluster munitions.
Landmine Monitor Report 2008
The report includes information 121 countries and other areas with respect to ban policy, mine action, mine/ERW risk education, casualties, victim assistance and international support for mine action.
